P-WRC: Its the final fight in Production

FIA appeal ruling makes Araujo P-WRC champion

Portuguese driver Armindo Araujo has been confirmed as this year's Production Car World Rally Champion, after a decision by the FIA Court of Appeal to drop his title rival Nasser Al Attiyah to last place on the Acropolis Rally of Greece. Prokop the P-WRC winner in Australia but Araujo is provisional champion

Four different drivers led the FIA Production Car World Rally Championship category on Repco Rally Australia, but in the end it was Czech Republic driver Martin Prokop who took the win, his first of the P-WRC season, by 42.2 seconds. Fastest time on the first three stages of the morning was enough to elevate Martin Prokop to the top of the Rally Australia Production Car World Rally Championship leaderboard - despite the fact that the Czech Republic driver felt he was missing his mojo.
